From Waste to Furniture Workshop

We chose to address the waste crisis in Lebanon in 2019, and raise awareness of the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. Through The Volunteers Circle, we have collaborated with the NGO Borderless to work with refugee children from Ouzaii to create furniture together from the upcycling of materials. We used plastic bottles and large paper rolls that usually goes to waste. We painted the furniture together and planted grains, and kept them at the school for the students to use forever.
